Día del Periodista

En el marco de las celebraciones del “Día del Periodista”, la Facultad de Humanidades, Ciencias Sociales y de la Salud organizó un conversatorio en el que participaron alumnos y profesionales del medio para debatir acerca de “El aporte de la universidad a la formación periodística”.

La actividad estuvo encabezada por la vicedecana Josefina Fantoni; la secretaria Académica, Ana María Castiglione; el secretario de Extensión, Omar Layús Ruiz; el coordinador de la Licenciatura en Periodismo, Ernesto Picco, además de docentes de la carrera.

Durante el conversatorio, se proyectaron videos de docentes de carreras de Periodismo y Comunicación Social de otras universidades del país, que sirvieron de disparador para debatir acerca de los aportes de la universidad.

En el encuentro, los alumnos de la primera Cohorte expresaron sus posturas sobre la formación recibida en el trayecto universitario, oportunidad en la que realizaron planteos acerca de las fortalezas y debilidades de la carrera.

En eso marco, pusieron de relieve los aportes teóricos que les brindó la universidad para la formación profesional, al tiempo que manifestaron la importancia de contar con docentes de grado con experiencia en medios que les permita tener otra mirada.

Por su parte, las autoridades tomaron nota de cada uno de planteos y los instaron a profundizar en investigaciones que aporten nuevas miradas al periodismo de Santiago del Estero; además de ratificar su acompañamiento en cada uno de los proyectos en los que decidan trabajar luego del cursado.

La actividad sirvió para dialogar sobre las necesidades de formación de grado, posgrado y talleres abiertos, para que la carrera articule nuevas respuestas a las demandas de los periodistas locales.
